Fleet upgrades and batch computer repairs in Paarl
One laptop is a simple repair. Ten computers is a project — and projects need planning, clear communication and a quick turnaround.
- 6-month warrantyOn the work and the parts, on every machine we hand back.
- Workshop in Northern Paarl62 Bosch Street, or we come to your site when it suits.
- One written quoteFor the whole batch, before anything is opened.
Whether you run a training room in a community centre, a school computer lab, an office of fifteen workstations, or the front-desk machines in hospitality, equipment ages together. It was bought together and it will need the same thing at the same time. Upgrading or repairing it one machine at a time wastes days and causes disruption the whole way through.
We handle the whole lot as one job. We assess every machine, tell you honestly which are worth upgrading and which are worth replacing, and you get a single written quote covering all of it — not a run of surprises as each machine lands on the bench.
How we help your organisation
-
Holiday and downtime refreshes
We work through a lab, a training room or an office floor across the holidays or a weekend, so nobody on your side loses a working day.
-
Speed that most machines can get back
Swapping slow hard drives for high-speed SSDs and adding memory usually rescues a machine that feels finished. Replacing every desktop is rarely the only answer.
-
Batch fault repairs
Power supplies, failing drives, machines that will not boot. We diagnose the whole batch and work in the order that unblocks the most people first.
-
Operating system updates and setup
Machines that have dropped out of support, or a new roll that needs the same working setup on every desk so nobody has to configure it twice.
-
Printers and shared drives
Getting the shared printer and the shared drives reachable from every machine on site, printing without anyone asking for help.
-
Honest retirement advice
Telling you which machines are past the point where repairing them makes sense, before you find that out the expensive way.
Our step-by-step process
-
Initial assessment
We visit your premises, or you send us the list with ages and symptoms. You get an honest split: upgrade, repair, replace, or leave alone.
-
One fixed quote
A written quote covering all parts and labour for the whole batch, issued before any work begins.
-
Scheduled convenience
Work carried out on site, or machines collected and handled in batches at our Northern Paarl workshop so your operation keeps running.
-
Tested and guaranteed
Every machine comes back tested and cleaned, with a 6-month warranty on the work and the parts.
A real job: a training room fleet refresh
A community centre in Franschhoek came to us with twelve desktop PCs that had been slowing down the training and skills sessions they run through the day — the community programmes for adults, and the younger learners who use the same room.
We worked through them in three batches rather than all at once, so the centre could keep running its sessions while we were in. Each batch came back upgraded where that was sensible and repaired where it was not, and the whole room ended up running properly again.
It is the kind of job that is awkward for anyone who only handles single machines, and ordinary work for us. If you have a batch of anything, from four laptops to a full lab, ring and we will tell you straight whether it is worth doing and what it should take.

On-site visits carry a call-out fee, quoted per job and confirmed with your quote before we set off. If bringing the machines to the workshop works out better for you, we will say so rather than bill you for a visit you did not need.
What we do not do
We do not take on open-ended support contracts or ongoing helpdesk work. We are a repair and upgrade workshop, and the work we take on is work we can finish on a bench or in a scheduled visit and stand behind with a warranty.
We also do not quote a price we have not looked at first. On a batch that matters more than it does on a single machine, because the quote is the whole point.
Tell us what you have
Four quick answers write your brief for you. Read it, change anything you like, then send it however suits you best — nothing is sent anywhere until you press a button.
Prefer to talk it through? A batch is usually settled faster on the phone than in writing.
Start the conversation
Ring 081 015 0573 and tell us what you have — how many machines, how old, and what they are doing wrong. That is usually enough for us to say whether it is a repair job, an upgrade job or a replace job, and roughly what it involves.
If you would rather put it in writing, email info@galvitech.co.za with the machine list. If you know when your term or financial year ends, mention it — that is usually what decides the schedule.
